The Summer School in SPACE ETHICS will equip participants with the knowledge and critical thinking skills to address the ethical challenges posed by humanity's increasing presence in space.
This programme is ideal for Bachelor's, Masters and PhDstudents who want to shape the future of space exploration in a thoughtful and responsible manner.Core topics covered in the course include applied ethics,space debris, dual-use of space technologies, space settlement, and large constellations of satellites. A series of collaborative tasks, field trips and social activities will provide immersive experiences with Italy's scientific history and future university opportunities:
Group work and final presentations
2-day trip to the Astronomical Observatory on theAsiago Plateau, with guided astronomical observation
Visits to historical sites related to Galileo Galilei

Fee: 500 euros per week / 20% fee waiver for students of partner universities / 50% fee waiver for Arqus students (including UNIPD students). A maximum number of waivers might apply. The fee includes accommodation in Asiago
